Adventurous and artistic travel fine art photography
Photos with a unique story - one analogue frame at a time
Seitlinger Photography
Why are my photography projects so unique?
In my photographic projects I focus on traveling in an adventurous style, for example with my bicycle and my own feet. Carrying all my gear by myself, also for long distances, I am traveling unsupported. With this background each photo will tell his own story of creation and how to get to the place where I made it.
Why shooting analog and in epic panoramic format?
I shoot primarily on black and white negative film with a Linhof Technorama 6x17 (617) panoramic camera.
Because of this panoramic photography my work is immense rich in detail and will be darkroom printed from the negativ on photographic paper or digital under acrylic glass, both in monumental sizes. I call it "Artistic Adventure Photography"
Who is Martin Seitlinger?
Martin Seitlinger is a self taught professional artistic & adventurous photographer based in Salzburg, Austria. He started his professional photography in 2023.
I always spent a lot of my time travelling and and taking pictures, already in photography somehow in a semi-professional way over the last years.
Beginning of 2023 I made a big step for myself, quit my job in the business world and fully concentrated on intensive and extraordinary photography projects as a professional photographer.
I am focusing on slowing down the process of photography with long and unsupported projects where only a few photos are taken. That’s why each of my photos has a unique story of creation.
MONOVISIONS black and white Photography Award 2024, Landscapes (Single) and Landscapes (Series), Honorable Mention
The setup to take a picture with the large-format, analogue panoramic camera is complex, so it is a very slow type of photography. Ultimately completely handcrafted, the photograph, the development of the film negative, to the dark room printing on FineArt Baryta photo paper.
3-4 month work for one photograph
each photo will have an Edition of 1 and is dark room printed in large format

For my photography project „Giant Mountains“ I cycled from Salzburg Austria via Cesky Krumlov always northeast trough the Czech Republic until I reached the Poland border up in the mountains. On my arrival sleet shower and -5 degrees gave me a nice welcome.
